I’m usually still taking photos even when I’m not technically “working.” Whether it’s my friends, my family, my dogs, a random road trip stop, or just little everyday moments, I honestly love documenting life as it happens — I think some of the smallest moments end up becoming the ones we miss the most later on, & that feeling has shaped so much of the way I photograph people.

A huge part of who I am exists OUTSIDE! I spend a lot of my time hiking, skiing, climbing, or honestly just finding any excuse to be in the mountains with the people I love most. Traveling around California and beyond brings me so much joy, and I’m constantly adding new places to my mental list of “I need to go there immediately.” But I also equally love a slow solo lake day at home where I can lay in the sun like a lizard on a rock with a good drink in hand and absolutely no plans whatsoever.

I love sunshine just as much as I love snow, & I genuinely think every season has its own little magic to it — I almost always have music or a podcast playing in the background because silence has never really been my thing — unless it’s a waterfall or "cheeseburger" birds chirping in the background. I love a good book, a good camp meal, & I will quite literally always have a snack in hand no matter what I’m doing...

I grew up dancing competitively for over 10 years, & it shaped such a huge part of who I am creatively. I think that’s a big reason why I’m so drawn to movement, emotion, and storytelling through photography now.

It also means there is a very high chance you’ll catch me absolutely tearing it up on the dance floor with you at your wedding! (very very high chance)

At the end of the day, I’m just someone who loves the little moments, the big adventures, & making the absolute most out of this crazy life <3
